Productivity is killing your work
| We keep seeing it: Leaders “too busy” to pause, zoom out, and reflect. The lie is tempting, “Do more, better, in less time – and you’ll win.” Thankfully, some leaders aren’t buying it. – Two executives took a moment to say “is this the right call?” It was, after all, what they’d always done. It seemed like the only option – a non-decision. “Rinse, repeat.” But one of them disrupted, “let’s THINK about this for a minute.” They did. They bucked status quo. And it might be a $1 Million decision. – Another executive regularly gathers for 30 minutes with leaders outside his organization to refresh basics and re-focus. And he’s a busy guy. You’re not buying it either, so try one of these: 2 Minutes. Ask: What’s one habit you’ve neglected? What’s the easiest version you can start back up, today? Will you do it? 5 Minutes. Dust off your journal. Make a note. 10 Minutes. That assessment you took a year ago? Find it. Recall one take-away that really stood out to you. Identify one simple action. |
| Our co-host got interviewed!
